Hi everybody! We've been on a hiatus... the band is still alive, but the focus is somewhere else right now. I just wanted to get all our Beats and Styles people to support our great friend and collaborator Slarta John, because he need all the love we can get him. He's in the hospital right now and we need your support... To refresh your memory... here's some great records with him, some by us, some by artists like Basement Jaxx and Dj Zinc...

Hyvä meininki Italian keikalla viime viikolla! Näyttää lupaavalta meininki sielläpäin! Suomessa valmistaudun parhaillaan uuden musavideon kuvauksiin. Tiedossa ehkä yksi hauskimmista B&S videoista ikinä... Lisää infoa lähiaikoina! Lisäksi olen työstänyt uusia biisejä kansainvälistä julkaisua varten.

Taas kehissä! Meidän nettisivut oli hetken aikaa ulkoistetulla palveluntarjoajalla ja se homma ei oikein toiminut, sorry! Ko. firma meni just konkurssiin, joten nyt taas mennään DJ Controlin koodauksen varassa! O-ou! Tsekatkaa uudet videot sekä sinkut "Falling Down" ja "Strength of Mind (GO!)" alempaa - biisit saatavilla myös nettikaupoista kuten iTunesista. Falling Downissa on tosi hyvät remixit, muutens!
We used a different service for our website for a while and it got everything pretty much f**ked up... That company went bankrupt and now we're back in business.. This website is still a bit under construction, but it's got the basic stuff here: gigs, latest little updates from twitter, the latest videos, link to merchandise sales, promo pics + a little guestbook.

Kiitos kaikille jotka jaksoitte bailata kanssamme sateesta huolimatta Kuopion torilla. Ikävä kyllä meille ei kerrottu, että musiikki katkaistaan tasan klo 23:15.

Great vibes at yesterday's gig in Helsinki. It was so nice to see all the friends there. Thanks for everyone for showing up!
We have the best of-compilation coming up strong and we've got two great new tracks made for it. They're called "You got the light" feat. Elastinen and "Straight up" feat. Cee-Rock the Fury, Slarta John, Jus Red & Max'C.
We've been pushing "You got the light" at the gigs lately, but yesterday was the first time we performed "Straight up". And it felt really good! Here's the proof. For practical/financial reasons we won't be abled to have all the featuring vocalists on the gigs, so here me and Max'C are doing the raps. The sound is quite rough because we just used the mics on the cameras, but it should give you a vibe about the energy onstage on that track! I'm so excited about the track that I wanted to share it with you!

This just in! We've just confirmed a worldwide deal with Ministry of Sound for Take it Back! So all you good people out there: watch out, we're coming!
Also, a new addition to our gigs: 7.12.2007 we're doing a gig in St. Petersburg at the Finnish showcase. The venue will be Achtung Baby club... see you there!

Great vibes at the gigs this week! Thanks for everyone who showed up! More shows are being booked all the time. The latest addition to the gigs is Varkaus 20.10. It's going to be a good show, so come and check it out if you're in the area!

The new Beats and Styles Live-DVD is out now! It's got the album release gig from last spring mixed in full surround sound. Featuring guest appearances by Papa Dee (Take it Back, We Don't Get it, Sounds of Freedom) and Michael Monroe (Renegades, Ocean Wave). Also all the videos from the new album (Ocean Wave, Walk Don't Talk, Take it Back & Signs), fun tour footage from last year and other nice extras. Check it out!

MTV added the Take it Back to it's playlist this week! Yeah!
On a less positive tip... our gig in Kokkola this weekend has been cancelled. Sorry about that! Next gig is 10.8. in Suomussalmi! We're using the extra time tuning up our set. It's tight like hell now!
We're currently booking for our fall/winter tour with our forthcoming live DVD. So hope to see you in your hometown soon!

Take it back! After succesful singles "Dance, Dance, Dance" and "Invitation to the dancefloor", the new single "Take it Back" is Taking Back Italy, strong! Ciao everyone! Last week it was the record of the week at Radio Deejay!

Yesterday we were at the Eurovision prequalifications where people voted for which of the two of our songs we'll perform at the Finnish finals. Click from above to see the performance of "See the Signs" feat. Anorah – this is the song you voted for...
The performances in the Finnish Eurovision Qualifications have always lacked of presence and that's what we wanted to bring to the performance. We had some problems with monitoring, but we'll work hard to get them fixed for next saturday's finals.
Don't forget the album release party on Valentine's Day (14.2.2007) at Virgin Oil Company, Helsinki. The album's out on the same day.

Things are rolling strong. Ocean Wave is doing well in Finland, we've got heavy rotation on Radio NRJ, Kiss, MTV & Voice TV. Our label Magic Records in Poland also started promoting Ocean Wave there, so it's looking good!

The new album is FINALLY ready! We've been quiet on this site, because we've been working HARD in the studio. Today we finally got all the parts into manufacturing and we're proud as ever!The official release date is set to 14.2.2007! So do not miss it!

The Ocean Wave single entered the charts in Finland at #14! Good! So if you're around, go and get yours too! It's got some good stuff on it! Check out the video from below.
Tomorrow we'll head off to France to play at the Festival Transmusicales de Rennes. We'll be playing the main stage, so we're more than excited!
We're hoping to get some footage from the trip to this website soon.

Big things a coming! This site has been unupdated for a while, because we've been working hard on the new album.

Today's gig in Helsinki was cancelled! Sorry about that!
It's been a crazy week once again starting with DJ Control's pendix being operated! That hurt a lot.
Then we were off to Poland to perform at the Hity na Czasie in Plock! That was great, once again. On monday we were touring all over Warsaw with Radio Eska.
We'll put a videoclip about the trip to Poland on the site shortly!
There's new music & videos also on it's way! So stay tuned!

Time flies when you're having fun! We had a massive and busy July and we haven't really had time to update the website.
In the beginning of the month we had our first gig in France. It was at the Le Reservoir - a great athmospheric place with a lot of history. Many big artists like U2 and the Cure have performed there in the past.
Then we went to play at the G! Festival in the Faroe Islands, although it was quite a catastrophy. We eventually ended up playing just 15 minutes at 4:15 in the MORNING! Anyway, Alimo finished the gig that was held on a beach by going to swim in the Atlantic - and the whole audience followed! So it was all good.
Some nice shows were also held in Finland, Rovaniemi Rock was one of the highlights.
Yesterday we came back from Poland where we participated in the legendary Sopot Song Contest! We didn't win though, but definitely made an impact! That was one hell of an experience.
This month we'll be going back to Poland on the 20th and we're also working on the release of our next single in Finland. It's callede "Tonite" and it's already been banging in selected clubs around Helsinki.
