The new album is in manufacturing and everything is looking good! After a short 2-day holiday I'm back in business! MTV and VOICE TV have now started pushing the You Got The Light video and I'm working on a cool dance remix for it. Stay tuned!

Great vibes at yesterday's gig in Helsinki. It was so nice to see all the friends there. Thanks for everyone for showing up!
We have the best of-compilation coming up strong and we've got two great new tracks made for it. They're called "You got the light" feat. Elastinen and "Straight up" feat. Cee-Rock the Fury, Slarta John, Jus Red & Max'C.
We've been pushing "You got the light" at the gigs lately, but yesterday was the first time we performed "Straight up". And it felt really good! Here's the proof. For practical/financial reasons we won't be abled to have all the featuring vocalists on the gigs, so here me and Max'C are doing the raps. The sound is quite rough because we just used the mics on the cameras, but it should give you a vibe about the energy onstage on that track! I'm so excited about the track that I wanted to share it with you!

On a less positive tip... our gig in Kokkola this weekend has been cancelled. Sorry about that! Next gig is 10.8. in Suomussalmi! We're using the extra time tuning up our set. It's tight like hell now!
We're currently booking for our fall/winter tour with our forthcoming live DVD. So hope to see you in your hometown soon!

Yesterday we were at the Eurovision prequalifications where people voted for which of the two of our songs we'll perform at the Finnish finals. Click from above to see the performance of "See the Signs" feat. Anorah – this is the song you voted for...
The performances in the Finnish Eurovision Qualifications have always lacked of presence and that's what we wanted to bring to the performance. We had some problems with monitoring, but we'll work hard to get them fixed for next saturday's finals.
Don't forget the album release party on Valentine's Day (14.2.2007) at Virgin Oil Company, Helsinki. The album's out on the same day.

Today's gig in Helsinki was cancelled! Sorry about that!
It's been a crazy week once again starting with DJ Control's pendix being operated! That hurt a lot.
Then we were off to Poland to perform at the Hity na Czasie in Plock! That was great, once again. On monday we were touring all over Warsaw with Radio Eska.
We'll put a videoclip about the trip to Poland on the site shortly!

Time flies when you're having fun! We had a massive and busy July and we haven't really had time to update the website.
In the beginning of the month we had our first gig in France. It was at the Le Reservoir - a great athmospheric place with a lot of history. Many big artists like U2 and the Cure have performed there in the past.
Then we went to play at the G! Festival in the Faroe Islands, although it was quite a catastrophy. We eventually ended up playing just 15 minutes at 4:15 in the MORNING! Anyway, Alimo finished the gig that was held on a beach by going to swim in the Atlantic - and the whole audience followed! So it was all good.
Some nice shows were also held in Finland, Rovaniemi Rock was one of the highlights.
Yesterday we came back from Poland where we participated in the legendary Sopot Song Contest! We didn't win though, but definitely made an impact! That was one hell of an experience.
This month we'll be going back to Poland on the 20th and we're also working on the release of our next single in Finland. It's callede "Tonite" and it's already been banging in selected clubs around Helsinki.
In the beginning of the month we had our first gig in France. It was at the Le Reservoir - a great athmospheric place with a lot of history. Many big artists like U2 and the Cure have performed there in the past.
Then we went to play at the G! Festival in the Faroe Islands, although it was quite a catastrophy. We eventually ended up playing just 15 minutes at 4:15 in the MORNING! Anyway, Alimo finished the gig that was held on a beach by going to swim in the Atlantic - and the whole audience followed! So it was all good.
Some nice shows were also held in Finland, Rovaniemi Rock was one of the highlights.

Wow what a great weekend last weekend! The show in Oulu, Finland was great, but the trip to Szczecin, Poland was CRAZY! 120 000 people showed up!
Also, we've now confirmed a couple of new dates in France. Next month we'll be performing at the Le Reservoir in Paris and in December we're going to perform at the Transmusicales de Rennes festival (it's big!).

After almost 2 months of quiet life on the website, we're back!
Things are happening with us all over the world:
You've got the new Mixmag cover CD mixed by Tom Neville and including his remix of Beats and Styles' "Dance, Dance, Dance!"
Also there's great success with the track Everything is everything in Poland. We're flying over there to perform at the massive Hity Na Czasie outdoors concert on 11.6.2006.
In France, we've got the french album "Two White Monkeys" with bonus DVD out. It's been released by Warm Music and distributed by Warner France.
And for Finland, we've got the massive summer smash "Dangerous" and loads of touring (the link to the gigs works again!)

Back from a 1,5 months of mayhem around the world. Things are rolling nice for Beats and Styles. Midem in Cannes went really well, so expect to see us in more territories than ever before.

Good weekend behind us... great news on all fronts!
First of all, it was a great vibe in Lahti and Kouvola. My brothers came to check out the show too and they brought a camera! Here's some nice and some funny shots!
Also, the new Invitation to the Dancefloor video has really started going! It went straight to #2 in the NRJ top 10! Go vote for it a bit more here! If you don't know what I'm talking about, click here! The song was last weeks highest new entry at the Music Control radio airplay chart.
Also, we've got great results with Dance, Dance, Dance in Italy. We're at #46 on Italy's Radio Control airplay chart. Also, it's #12 at the dance sales chart and #19 at the club chart in Italy. Not to mention that the same song is #3 at the Hit Italia R'n'B Chart!?!
Anyway, next wednesday will be our last gig for the year. We're having a break for one month... I'm going to Cuba, Mexico and Belize for a holiday! It's Midem Music Conference after that and we're back at touring on February.

The new single is ready! It's called Invitation to the dancefloor! Check out the video here! We've also worked on a great remix of it with DJ Monique from Frankfurt. She also did the groovy remix on our single Dance, Dance, Dance.
Good things are happening with Beats and Styles all over the globe... Italy's really rocking to the Dance, Dance, Dance, Spain's cooking, France is starting to work on the release of the album and in Australia the Dance, Dance, Dance dj Monique remix is included on the forthcoming Ministry of Sound compilation, mixed by Axwell!
Oh, and yesterday we had our Beats and Styles christmas party in Helsinki. We're still recovering...

We've agreed on doing an anti-AIDS concert "Fuck Aids" 1.12. in Turku's Klubi. That should be cool!

I've updated the website a bit. First of all there's new promo pictures in the "PRESS"-section + some background info about Beats and Styles in the "INFO" section (Alimo, Control & something about the overall Beats and Styles filosophy).
